These figures represent estimated expenses for a normal fiscal year. As a partner with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Assistance Program, 100 percent of funds contributed to the LECSC are used in support of the ministry, programs, and administrative needs of SCLEAP. Through support of the member agencies, the salaries and fringe benefits of staff are covered. Gifts to the LECSC allow the chaplains to provide special support to the over 17,000 state and local police officers and their families.
